My Favorite Etsy Shop

This Wednesday I bring to you this girlie girlie shop!! I'm sure you gonna love it too :)
Meet Erica and her shop....just check her Alice's in Wonderland inspired dress

*Why did you open your Etsy shop?
I opened up my Etsy shop because I had a lot of excess creative energy and spend a lot of time on arts and crafts. I was still taking university classes at the time and also wanted a way to make some extra spending money because I didn't have a job. Etsy was the perfect solution to both of those things.

*What's your best seller?
My best seller is the Made-to-Order Kitty Ears. I can make them with black or white ears with a pink or red bow, on hair clips or headbands.

*What makes it a great buy?
They're fun clip-on ears that almost anyone can wear, and an inexpensive alternative to a full-blown costume around Halloween time. I think customers like them because they're customizable. I even honor special requests like making the bows larger, or in different colors.

*My Pick*
I love this Convertible Dress!!! You can get it in any color you want :)

*Treat*

Erica is happy to offer 10% off to anyone who mentions FunFavors blog  in the "note to seller" when ordering.
Enjoy!!!

XOXO

What's on your plate? ... Wonderland Pasta

This meal is to honor the new and highly anticipated Alice's in Wonderland movie!!! A classic in the making :)

Thinking about having an Alice in Wonderland party with the girls or your kids at home?? Have Spaghetti Bolognese as your main dish and they would love it!! Let's just call it Wonderland Pasta (with Red Queen's tomato sauce, Crazy Mushrooms and top it with the White Queen's breath) anyone who's scared of mushrooms will start to love them !!

Ingredients: *3 tablespoons olive oil* 1 onion, chopped*1lb of beef mince (or a mixture of beef and pork mince)*1 carrot, diced*1/2 lb sliced mushrooms*2 cloves garlic, crushed*1 stick celery (with leaves), chopped*2 teaspoons dried thyme*1 sprig each of rosemary and sage*1 tablespoon basil (or 1 teaspoon dried)*1 tablespoon soy sauce*5 tomatoes, pureed*3 tablespoon tomato paste*Salt*½ lb dried spaghetti*parsley and black pepper to garnish*Grated Parmesan cheese, to serve.

What to do: In a medium saucepan, cook the onion in the oil until soft, add the beef mince with the garlic, and stir-fry until it browns. Add the carrot, celery, herbs, and soy sauce; insert the pureed tomatoes, sugar, tomato paste and the Crazy Mushrooms. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes, moving occasionally.
In the meantime, boil the spaghetti in plenty of water with a little salt and oil. (usually cooked for about 10 minutes to make it al dente. Drain and set apart. Season the sauce. Place the cooked spaguetti in serving plates. Top with the Red Queen's tomato sauce (Bolognese sauce), garnish with plenty of parsley and black pepper, finish with a little bit of White Queen's breath ( Parmesan cheese )...
Enjoy!!

Kid's Party: Serve your Wonderland Pasta in clear cups with fun colorful forks, place a label to each of them that reads "EAT ME"

Have fun :)

My Favorite Etsy Shop

featuring 123smile

Today I'm sharing with you this shop that I'm sure you will heart because is not only full of eye candy, is original and great for the tech people out there!
Here a little bit more about Stefan and his shop

*Why did you open your Etsy shop ?
Because Etsy is just the first place in selling handmade products.
I think thanks to the company which invents the amazing knob configuration, that I can create these child experiences again .. and without these memory my products would have just an extraordinary design.

*Which one is your best seller ?
I don´t count the solds for my single products but I estimate its the usb memory stick in a Lego 2x2 brick since xmas my best sellers are the usb memory sticks in Lego Mini Figures (Darth and Indy)

*What makes it a great buy ?
I would say its the haptik, the possibilty to change the form of the usb memory bricks or plates ..and I think the memory figures are just pretty and really small.

*My Pick*

This super cute Mr. Indiana Jones...I'm totally a fan of these movies!

*Treat*
If you would like to get one of this USB memories and also enjoy a 10% discount...get in touch with Stefan via e-mail
